Overview – Pronation is a motion that combines rolling of the ankle inward with depression of the medial arch of the foot. This is a natural motion that takes place when your foot strikes the ground during walking and running. When a person is standing still, the feet should exhibit a neutral position.
Overpronation is an exaggerated version of pronation and is visible from the posterior, when a person is standing still. Furthermore, it can cause the shin(Tibia) to rotate and the knee to bow inward.
