Overview - People with tension type headaches often describe pain on both sides of their head with a pressing/tightening quality (e.g. "band-like"). Routine activities do not aggravate tension headaches. A tension headache is the most common type of headache, yet its causes aren't well understood.
Symptoms - Frequent headaches with mild to moderate intensity, "Band-like" pressure on both sides of the head, No nausea, Tenderness in the scalp, neck and shoulder muscles
